I started my career in the banking industry as a customer service representative. This job introduced me to finance and gave me a glimpse into accounting. After that, I started as an outsourced accounting intern at Anders (which later merged with the Summit Virtual CFO team). This opportunity gave me confidence in my decision to get an accounting degree and made me realize that outsource accounting encompassed everything that I enjoyed about accounting. I have since transitioned into a full-time accountant and love the work that I do. There is something special about being a helping hand to our clients and watching them succeed. My goal is to continuously learn and become the best advisor and coworker that I can be.

I am from Canton, MO where I have lived my entire life. I love the small-town atmosphere and being back home with my family after four years of college at Maryville University. I am a retired softball pitcher but feel so thankful for the opportunities that the sport gave me. I still have a passion for sports and a love for games in general. I recently started golfing more and have enjoyed playing so far. Living in the Midwest means having four seasons. My favorite by far is fall! I love the temperature and all the fun activities. In my free time, I enjoy being outside, being active, and spending time with family and friends.
